2009 HRFF Clapham Junction**
Clapham Junction
36 hours in the lives of a number of gay men in Clapham, South London.
From a civil partnership ceremony to a heated dinner party, five stories are woven into London from school and work, to bars and clubs, during one hot summer’s night.
Certainly not a happy picture, but one that is notable for its deft filmmaking and outstanding performances, Clapham Junction follows the overlapping stories of a number of gay men whose lives intersect through a senseless act of brutality over the course of one late summer weekend in London. Principal Cast: Tom Beard, James Bellamy, Robin Berry, Rachael Blake, Samantha Bond.
